My husband and I recently stumbled upon this place unexpectedly after leaving a meeting nearby. The overall atmosphere of this sweet little place was so cozy, and a bit romantic I might add. Our food was delicious, and as tempted as we were by the coffee bar, we opted for a pot of tea instead, and it was spectacular! Being able to find a quiet spot for a few moments in such a busy town really makes this a hidden gem in my opinion! We will definitely be back on our next trip to Charleston!

Stopped in here for a quick lunch and it was 10/10! Best turkey I’ve ever had in my life, and my boyfriend’s crab cake sandwich was great too.

Atmosphere is charming and intimate. There was a had written card reserving the table. Jon, the server was amazing and accommodating with my gluten sensitivity. I recommend the Paris Market plate and strawberry lemonade tea. I hope to have a chance to go back for a high tea experience.

The various teas and accompanying scrumptious delicacies were carefully and expertly crafted. John, our server, was quite warm and welcoming while explaining every detail of the experience. East Bay Meeting House is hands down my new favorite place to eat. What a delightful and incredible experience. The staff were dressed up beautifully. Fancy dresses, hair curled, lipstick, and scarves in the hair. Totally set the atmosphere. Truly a step back in time. They were each so kind and efficient. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, peaceful, clean and charming. The food was so so incredible. The quiche was the best I have ever had at any restaurant. The watermelon was cut in the shape of hearts. The prices are very reasonable. I am so happy we found this gem in Charleston! I cannot wait to go back, making this a tradition.
